Implementation of a Lumbar Puncture (LP) Simulation Teaching Module

      Traditionally, resident education has been delivered through lecture format and bedside teaching, evolving to include procedurally based demonstrations. Many of our residents have increasingly desired more procedurally based simulation training. Our objective was to determine if implementation of a didactic and procedural LP module would enhance the knowledge and skills of Emergency Medicine (EM)-1 residents.
