Whenever I have encountered a new academic product of Dr. Richard Edlich, I am reminded
of his vast array of accomplishments, which by themselves leave me in awe of his energy,
creativity, and talent, but when I consider that so many of them have come after he
was stricken with multiple sclerosis that would have ended the productivity of most
people, I am in even greater admiration.
