Accuracy of the Urinalysis for Urinary Tract Infections in Febrile Infants 60 Days and Younger

      Though urinary tract infections (UTIs) make up the majority of all serious bacterial infections in all febrile infants less than 60 days of age; until now, the test characteristics of urinalysis have varied widely in this age group with sensitivities ranging from between 48-99% and specificities from 88-98%.
