Traumatic Corneal Dehiscence After Penetrating Keratoplasty

      Corneal transplantation, or penetrating keratoplasty (PK), is the leading surgical procedure for visual restoration of corneal blindness. Because corneal disease with vision loss and restorative treatment with PK is not uncommon, emergency physicians should be aware of complications and wound dehiscence when these patients present to the emergency department.
